W52 Project 2012

Instead of 365 project, publish a photo every day of the year, I decided to do a W52 project, publish the best shot of the week. I think this way I'm forced to put more thought into the shots, not just effort into shooting every day. I hope that this will be a mixture of work and personal projects for me. Please do comment both on the whole gallery as well as individual images. Any feedback is welcome!

    Downtown San Francisco with Camera Awesome. The cameras in phones don't really match up with "real" cameras, but what started as attempt to hide the shortcomings with filters and textures has turned into a art form for many iPhone, Android and other mobile photographers.
    8/8/2012, Canal street, New York, NY. Another shot with my 4x5 Graflex. I really should take the camera out more to get accustomed to using it.
    We took a holiday to Finland in August and this shot represents countryside for me. I'm from Imatra, a small town by Lake Saimaa, the biggest lake in FInland. The water was exceptionally high because of long rainy period and all small piers in front of lakeside saunas were submerged. Now I miss the quiet.
